ADbuddy for KeraFactor Message on Contra

Packaging concept · Scalp Stimulating Brush

A box that looks like the brush inside it.

We made this for your Contra brief. We studied mykerafactor.com, your bottles and the brush itself, then designed every side of the carton. Your logo and font stay exactly as they are. The new accent, sage, comes straight from the brush.

01 · The brief

Your brief, and how we read it

  1. 01“Review and refine our existing mock-up.”
  2. 02“Subtle design enhancements that align with our minimalistic and clean style.”
  3. 03“Production-ready artwork suitable for mass production.”

You don’t need a new look. You need the box to feel finished and to belong to the brand you already have.

So nothing here is invented from scratch. The colors come from your website and the brush. The label shape and the dot arc come from your bottles. Every line of copy comes from your product page.

We haven’t seen your mock-up yet. This concept shows how we think. Once you share yours, we refine it. We don’t start over.

Work Sans

Medium 500 for names, Regular 400 for copy. The same font as mykerafactor.com, so the box and the site read as one voice.

KeraFactor logo in green
KeraFactor logo in cream

Your logo, unchanged. Green on cream for the front and top, cream on green for the side.

From your bottles

The dark label block with one rounded corner, and the arc of dots. Both move onto the box in the new green, so the brush sits next to your Shampoo and Solution as one family.

Six small changes that do the work

Front
Back
  1. Color from the brushThe sage on the box is the sage on the brush, so the product and its box look made for each other.
  2. Your bottle label, carried overThe green name block with one rounded corner is the same shape as on your Shampoo and Solution bottles.
  3. A drawing, not a plastic windowA clean line drawing shows the shape and the massage nubs. No plastic, easier to recycle, cheaper to make.
  4. A dot ring you can feelThe dot arc from your bottles becomes a ring around the brush, printed and blind-embossed. No extra ink.
  5. The routine on the backShampoo, then brush, then Solution. Three simple steps that also help sell the other two products.
  6. A message inside the lidOpen the box and the lid says “Healthy hair starts at the scalp.” A small moment for unboxing videos. See it open

04 · Production

Ready for the printer

One flat sheet, drawn to real size in millimetres. Cut and fold lines, 3 mm bleed and a 3 mm safe area on every panel. Delivered as Illustrator and print-ready PDF files once we start working together.

  • Cut
  • Fold
  • Bleed 3 mm
  • Safe area

Sizes are a starting point. We confirm them with a real brush and your printer’s dieline before anything is printed. This view is for review only: print files are handed over once a contract starts.

05 · In the world

On the shelf, and opened

Three in a row: the green side and the green name block line up into one band.
Opened: the printed lid, and the brush resting in a paper pulp tray.

06 · Going further

Two bolder ideas, if you want them

The box above answers your brief. These two show where it could go next. Take one, mix them, or keep it simple.

Idea A · Low extra cost

See it, then feel it

A window cut in the exact shape of the brush shows the real sage top and its massage nubs. Around it, the dot ring is raised with a blind emboss, so fingers feel the dots before the box is even open.

  • The window is cut by the same die as the box, so it adds almost no cost
  • No plastic film. A compostable film is an option if you want it closed
  • Blind emboss: no ink, just raised paper
  • A pulp tray holds the brush 2–3 mm behind the window
Up close: the raised dots and the window edge.

Idea B · Needs a one-time mold

The pebble case

No rectangular box at all. A molded paper-pulp case in the shape of the brush, closed with one printed paper band. It looks like a smooth stone, it is all paper, and the unboxing is one people film.

  1. Top shellMolded paper pulp, plastic-free
  2. The brushRests on its bristles, nubs facing up
  3. Bottom shellShaped to hold the brush, closes with a friction fit
  4. Paper bandLogo, name and barcode. Slides off to open

The mold is a one-time cost, so this makes most sense for larger runs or a gift edition.
